VolkswagenT5 Transporter DRL Kit Daytime Running Lights 2010 to 2015 Ready to Paint

These are LED day running lamps for the Volkswagen T5 Transporter and Caravelle 2010 to 2015 set in a BLACK (not white as in the picture) shell in uncapped ABS, ready to be primed and painted to colour match your vehicle. They are a high quality fully customised kit, assembled in the UK and tailor made for these vehicles. They are not suitable for the Sportsline or as a replacement for models fitted with fog lamps.

The full kit contains:-

• Pair of Day Running Lamps in a white shell
• Control Module
• Wiring Loom and connectors
• Brackets and all fasteners
• Easy to follow fitting instructions

The lamps have a cast alloy body with a vent valve to regulate temperature and pressure inside the lens. They are fitted with four one watt LED bulbs which have a very high brightness of 6000k, which is the same technology found in many high end manufacturer's vehicles. The lamps are also E marked and meet the current ECE R87 regulations.

The lights will switch on and off with the ignition. The controller can be connected so that the lights will dim or go out with the headlamps depending on customer preference. 

These quality lamps are designed to fit into the fog lamp trim by cutting out the blanking plug, easily done with a 76mm hole saw. CT1 adhesive required (not supplied)

They come with an easy fit wiring loom with only three simple connections required under the bonnet - no complicated under the dash dismantling. They are 100% compatible with the vehicle's canbus wiring system.

By fitting these Day Running Lamps you will be more visible to other drivers and pedestrians meaning increased road safety. From February 2011 they are compulsory on all newly type approved cars and light vans - so fitting them to your pre 2011 vehicle will ensure it stays looking current and up to date.
